The sexual offence case involving Nigerian dancer and entertainer Iweh Odinaka, widely known as Poco Lee, is still ongoing in the United Kingdom, with prosecutors confirming that he is expected to appear in court on September 15, 2026,the Crown Prosecution Service disclosed the development.
According to the CPS Press Office, there has been no change to the status of the case, and Odinaka remains listed to appear before the Snaresbrook Crown Court in London for a Plea and Trial Preparation Hearing
The prosecution service said, “This case is still live, and Odinaka is still set to appear for a PTPH at Snaresbrook Crown Court on 15 September 2026.”
A PTPH, or Plea and Trial Preparation Hearing, is a stage in criminal proceedings where the court considers the defendant’s plea and deals with issues necessary for preparing the case for trial. Such hearings can help determine how the case will proceed and what matters need to be addressed before a trial begins.
However, the CPS did not provide details on whether Odinaka is currently being held in custody or has been granted bail. This is significant because reports have recently circulated on social media and other online platforms claiming that the entertainer had been released from a UK prison.

The allegations stem from an incident connected to his visit to the United Kingdom in August. The dancer travelled to London in connection with the Davido and Friends concert, which took place at the Crystal Palace Bowl on August 14.

The Snaresbrook Crown Court had previously confirmed that Odinaka’s case was scheduled for a Plea and Trial Preparation Hearing on September 15, 2026.
